Alvin and the Chipmunks is one of the American animated music group which made by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. in 1958. This group consists of three singing, Alvin, the mischievous troublemaker, and quickly became the star of the group, Simon, tall bespectacled intellectual, Theodore, fat, one impressionable. The trio is managed by their human father David Seville. The voices of the group it was done by Bagdasarian, who had to speed up playback to make high-pitched voices.

Although the fictional characters, Alvin and the Chipmunks have released a long line of actual albums and singles with "The Chipmunk Song", and became the number one hit single in the United States. They are which most successful music groups of all time, earning five Grammy awards, the Golden Reel Award, American Music Awards, two Kids Choice 'Awards, and has been nominated for three Emmy awards.
