Thundercats is one of the American animated television series produced by Rankin / Bass productions. He also created the Silver Hawks and The Comic Strip, which debuted in 1985 and based on characters created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf. This is a series which follow adventure a group of humanoid aliens like a cat. And animated was provided by Pacific Animation Corporation. In 1985 (65 episodes), showing season 1, followed by a TV movie called Thundercats - HO! In the year 1986. Season 2, 3, 4 follow the new format in 20 episodes, which began with a cheerful five parts and were broadcast in year 1987-1988, 1988-1989, and 1989 to 1990, respectively.
This series was originally distributed by parent company Rankin-Bass Productions Telepictures Corporation, which later in 1986 joined Lorimar Productions. In 1989, Warner Bros. bought Lorimar-Telepictures, which television syndication arm would eventually assume distribution shows, and Warner Bros have strong rights to the series (and all programming Lorimar-Telepictures) from that moment. On June 5, 2007, Aurelio Jaro announced that a CGI-animated Thundercats movie based on the script written by Paul Sopocy. Thundercats Logo and DVD box set which is show in clothing products from the original series, have enjoyed a resurrection in recent years as nostalgia for a favorite former son who has grown.
